Law of Attraction Retreats

You deserve a break today, maybe one that includes visiting a tropical locale, or at least takes you somewhere you've never been before.

When it comes to Law of Attraction retreats, you may go for the healing, to get motivated or pick up pointers about creating, or it could be you saw The Secret and just want to check this LOA stuff out. Regardless of why you go, you'll get to hang out with a lot of like minded people, which can't help but fill you with positivity and raise your vibration.

If you prefer a longer retreat, this one may be for you. It's being held in a country that I've been to and love, beautiful Spain. This retreat is based on A Course in Miracles, with Christian Christensen facilitating. For six weeks, attendees create a self sufficient community, shutting out the world in order to really immerse themselves in the program and speed up the process. The idea is to dismantle the ego to enable easy communication with Spirit. From the Sonship Online site, which is where the Global One TV link takes you to:

Sorry to be so vague but Vicky Clough is a Doctor of Divinity and Spiritual Life Coach in Utah. She holds several different retreats at different times in different locations for different amounts of money. Vicky's programs sound very interesting, warm and loving and include topics such as Grace, Alchemy, Vision Quest for Women and more. It's definitely worth checking out the retreat descriptions to see if anything resonates with you. This from Vicky's site:

Hay House Radio Schedule

I'm a big fan of Hay House Radio, also referred to as radio for your soul. It is owned of course, by author and speaker, Louise Hay.

Each day, there are spiritual speakers such as Esther Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Thomas Moore, Sonia Choquette, Debbie Ford, Doreen Virtue....I could go on and on, there are so many.

Spiritual radio hosts are put on a regular rotation throughout the week and best of all, it doesn't cost you anything to listen. My personal favourite is Esther Hicks but like I said, you're spoiled for choice. Just click on the 'spiritual speakers' link and it will take you to the page of show hosts.

If you haven't enjoyed Hay House Radio before, I urge you to find a speaker or topic that interests you and listen in.

Free Law of Attraction Manifesting Course

This course is a class of videos, I believe. I am signing up for it myself and will be able to better clarify later. If you watch and listen to the video, you'll notice that it says that it is an 'introductory course', so likely once the free course is over, you'll be asked to purchase more materials. All you have to do is say no, if you'd rather not buy anything. At least, that's how I understand it before receiving mine. If anything turns out to be different from what I've said here, I'll put a note on this post, as well as publish a new one to bring it to your attention.

How to Turn Your Desires & Ideals Into Reality - Free Online Book

I found a free book that you can read online and may be of interest. It's by a gentleman by the name of Brown Landone. In the book's description, the reader is promised to be shown the secrets of making their dreams come true.

Landone talks about manifesting your heart's desire and discusses the steps necessary to be successful. He teaches:

"* How it takes just five minutes a day to make you super efficient"
"* How to change a weak will into a strong will"
"* How to form an ideal which will come true"

The book is free, so it is worth giving it a read. It may indeed help you turn your desires and vision into reality.

Manifest 3 Wishes Meditation

I came across this meditation a couple of days ago and thought I'd share. It is a YouTube video but very well done. The woman who is speaking has a very soothing voice. Combined with the ocean and sounds of waves in the background, this meditation is almost certain to bring you peace and help you release any resistance that is keeping you from obtaining your wishes.

Law of Attraction Forums

As promised yesterday, I have compiled a list of Law of Attraction forums for you.

Powerful Intentions, the Law of Attraction Community - Free

This site says that people who are members of their community have three things in common:

1. They all believe in the Power of Intentions
2. They all believe in the Law of Attraction
3. They are all enthusiastically attracted to be there by Inspired Action

Powerful Intentions has a goal of helping everyone belonging to their forum to raise their vibration and easily attract what they are looking for. In the site's own words, they want to "Create the most fertile community in the world for people to manifest their Intentions!"

Power Law of Attraction, My Community - Free

Although the top of the forum seems to suggest that this one concentrates on attracting romantic love, a quick scroll down through the topic threads reveals that there are many other topics of interesting, as well. Wealth, quantum physics and abundance, for example. The site has more than 3,000 members.

Law of Attraction Forum, Your Life of Success - $19.95

Please note that I cannot vouch for this site. While searching for LOA forums, I happened upon this and decided to include it in the interest of offering varied choice. It purports to help people succeed financially and spiritually.

Some people may be more comfortable in a club format, which this one is. The Law of Attraction Forum is guided by author David Samuel, who is personally available to members on a daily basis.

Spiritual Forums, Manifesting, Creating and The Law of Attraction - Free

Self-touting as, "the web's number one community for spirituality!", Spiritual Forums is an open arena to discuss absolutely anything to do with what most people refer to as 'New Age'. There are threads for topics such as paranormal, yoga, zen, spirituality, esoteric subjects, affirmations and more. Naturally, manifesting and the Law are the topics of many of the threads.

The Abe Forum, Abraham-Hicks Discussion - Free, accepts donations

This is a robust forum of more than 6,000 people discussing all things Abraham. All participation must have to do with Abraham teachings.

What's Been Happening

I've been away, both physically and in the blogging sense. It's been more than that has kept me from posting here though. There is so much helpful information about the Law of Attraction out there, I felt the need to rethink what I was doing here.

The critical mass that was spoken of in James Redfield's book, The Celestine Prophesy, has happened and most people who feel drawn to the new spirituality are already familiar with the basics of Law of Attraction. So, I began to think of the redundancy of this blog.

After spending quite a bit of time ruminating about the whole thing and trying to decide whether or not to just delete this blog, I decided to try thinking about it differently. Instead of assuming it was of no value, I began to wonder how I could make it valuable to anyone who happens by. How could my blog help others with gaining understanding or providing answers or a road map when it comes to the Law of Attraction?

What I finally came to was the idea that I would use this medium to provide resources. People could come to one page here to find a list of books, forums, sites, whatever I can find that I think would be helpful.

So, that's where I am at the moment. Tomorrow, I'll be posting a list of LOA forums for us all to check out and perhaps find a comfortable, supportive LOA home that resonates with us.

I truly hope that at least some my posts will prove helpful to you.
