Moving forward one step at a time |
There are opportunities everywhere for us to choose what we want. It can be something as simple as what to have for dinner or as profound as whether or not to end a long relationship. Some choices don't feel important, yet others seem a matter of life and death and we just can't make a bad decision or we'll regret the rest of our lives. In those types of instances, moving forward can seem stalled. The fact of the matter is that you are moving forward to doing it again. Time can never stand still and neither do you. As long as you are making the same choices, you will get the same thing.
Changing Direction
If you are in that sort of situation, take heart. We are free to make a different decision, to choose something else or another way. There are no wrong or bad decisions. There are just choices and decisions. If you don't like the outcome, change your choice. After that, it is a matter of aligning with your new or amended desire and letting it in, letting it flow to you.
Don't focus on how you got into the situation or bemoan it to yourself or others. Remember, what you focus on expands. If you want different results, you need to emit a different vibration.
If you've been practicing a particular vibration for a long time, you may need to take baby steps. As Abraham says, "Change one thought at a time". Over time, you will move more and more into alignment with what you really want.
While you are moving forward towards your desire, don't forget to remain hopeful and happy. Don't worry if you find it a challenge to do that right away. Start with anything that helps you feel better about your situation and increase the duration of the feelings as you progress. Look for the bright side, look forward to the positive changes and know that the Universe is on your side.
