I was actually looking for something else, following links and pages when I happened upon a site owned by Carlos Santana. Architects of a New Dawn (AOAND) was a total, very pleasant surprise to me.

Beautiful site aside, Carlos Santana is on a mission. His long-held belief that if we band together in peace, think peace and live peace, we will create a world of peaceful co-existence. Carlos obviously does not believe in lack.

Apparently, others have been aware of this wonderful website and project - it's only new to me, it seems. There are already quite a few members ready to take up the cause and contribute own their uplifting resources and voice.

Carlos Santana has put a great deal of thought into AOAND, a lifetime of thought, actually. If you watch the Architects of a New Dawn video on the homepage, he mentions that.

The organization has mission and vision statements, along with events announcements, resources and a like-minded community. He wants Architects of a New Dawn to affect global change and I think there is a very real possibility of him succeeding. To what extent, I'm not sure. However, his celebrity, heart-felt conviction and positive actions carry a lot of weight, so I have hope. I'm rooting for this man, this site, this organization because I love the concept. Seeing a peaceful world through the eyes of Carlos Santana felt wonderful.
