We've been hearing a lot about the Law of Attraction for the past few years now. The movie, The Secret introduced the subject to many and really helped LOA to go massively public.
As a result, there are loads of people who now practice consciously using the Law in their daily lives. I think it's great, but apparently, some people are getting tripped up.
Typically, when people first embrace the Law of Attraction, they eagerly spend a great deal of time sending out positive thoughts and refining the visualization of their desires. They do these things long and hard. To say that they are gung-ho is an understatement.
So it is with all this arduous effort and excitement, that some people soon poop out. They've expended a lot of energy and it's been a whole two weeks and, well, nothing! Zip, zilch, nada. There is no evidence of the manifestation of the desire that they've worked so obsessively on. Impatience and frustration is often the only thing they get for all their efforts. They mistakenly think that the Law of Attraction isn't working for them. They couldn't be more wrong.
Most of us have been at that point where we think we'll never get it right or that we'll never get what we want fast enough. Some give up completely or adopt an attitude (and vibration) of resignation and depression, sure they'll never have their desires fulfilled. Others, press on to learn more. Usually when they do, the Law will provide synchronistic information because they have sent the desire to learn more out into the Universe. That is what they are vibrating.
Now, understand that whichever you go is okay. Everybody is entitled to live however they want to, thanks to Free Will. If you give up and think that the Law doesn't work for you, that's what you are vibrating. For as long as you stay in that vibrational state, the Universe will bring you evidence of it. As far as it's concerned, you are always right. Whatever we ask for, we get. That is a guaranteed result of the Law of Attraction.
For the fastest results, you have to be a vibrational match to what you are asking for. If you are a close match and you are in a receiving mode, it will happen fairly quickly. Trying to make a quantum leap from where you currently are, or if you are not in a place of receiving, your desire can take much longer and you need to trust and be patient. You need to find a way to align energetically with your desire.
Abraham says that the whole purpose of our time here is to enjoy the journey, starting from where we are, and suggests only thinking and visualizing IF it makes us feel good when we do it. If we only feel anxious because we don't have what we're thinking about, then we should not think of it. We need to move our thoughts to something else that makes us feel good and raises our vibration. Over time, we move closer and closer to our desire.
If you are feeling discouraged, the best thing you can do is feel good as often as possible. Play your favourite music, laugh, have fun, spend time with people and places you love. Lighten up. Everything you want is already here. You just have to become a vibrational match to it and you'll see it manifested in your physical world. The Law of Attraction guarantees it!
People want instant manifestation. But the universe knows that we don't appreciate what we achieve without the journey that goes with it and the lessons we learn along the way. If an obese person suddenly woke up skinny, it wouldn't fix the way they think or the habits they have, and they'd just attract all those Kgs.
ReplyDeleteThe law of attraction works on faith, optimism and focusing on the end result. So the best thing to do is think about what you want, be appreciate for what you've got, and feel good. It's a simple formula.
Thanks, Calli! You said that so well! And I think you're right. If that obese person woke up skinny, they'd still be obese inside, unless they had some sort of miraculous change in vibration.
ReplyDeleteGratitude is so important. I also happen to think that it helps us to enjoy the journey more because we take the time to connect with those wonderful things, events or people.
Thanks again, Calli!
